OUR FESTIVE BUCKET LIST

The girls and I have sat down and come up with a little festive bucket list for December. The Christmas season can go by so fast and sometimes the things we want to do get pushed aside as the month gets busier.

So we have come up with a festive bucket list that is affordable, easy to achieve without the stress on us parents and most important, fun :)

~ Christmas Lights ~

We go to the Christmas light switch on in our town every year and this year was no different. We had a lovely evening and the girls went on the funfair rides, we had chips and saw Santa :).

~ Movie Night ~

A Christmas movie night is a must over the holidays, more than one for sure!. We have just watched the new Santa series on Disney plus , it was so good. Have you got any favourite shows you always watch this time of year?.

~ Craft Morning ~

We love getting out the crafts, especially at Christmas time and I have found some really lovely bits to do over the half term and the weekends.

~ Christmas Eve Cinema Trip ~

We normally go to the Winter Wonder Land on Christmas Eve and have done for the past 5 years but this year it isn't on ,unfortunately the site hasn't had planning permissions so we are starting a new tradition and going all out at the cinema with a good film and all the popcorn!.

~ Pamper Night ~

Girl's pamper nights are the best. Christmas themed face masks, Christmas nails and all the hot chocolate singing away to the Christmas hits, yes!.

~ Bake ~

I love to bake , which you will know if you’ve been a follower for a while and so do the kids. We’ve got Christmas bark, gingerbread cookies and mince pie baked oats coming soon :)

~Read ~

Christmas stories are the best!. Nila has a Christmas book advent calendar and I’ve bought Alessia and I a book to get stuck into over the month. One day in December I am currently reading and Alessia is reading the Christmasaurus.

~ Christmas lights ~

One thing we do every year is have a drive around and look at all the Xmas displays whilst the Xmas songs are playing. We have done this for the longest time and it really is magical

I’d love to know what festive fun you have planned for the month ..

  1. I remember when I was a kid, our mom also took us to see one of the new Disney movies. It was something to look forward to
