We saw Santa!. Nila and her relationship with Santa is a long story and this year she has really been on edge with seeing Santa,but today she was finally brave enough to visit him and have a little chat .
Nila’s going through the faze , 5 going on 15, sassy attitude, if you’ve had a 5 year old then you’ll know exactly what I mean.
So as soon as she sees Santa she freaks out incase he asks her if she’s been good, funny right?, but this little girl is petrified about being on the ‘naughty’ list.
It shows that she knows her behaviour hasn’t been the best but poor little thing has been dreading Santa for the past month.
I’ve talked to her about this ‘good’ and ‘bad’ list and that she isn’t a naughty little one, she just needs to listen at home and do as she is told.
Anyway we’ve been Christmas shopping and whisky having a Starbucks break,she spots Santa,she was so eager to go and see him that we waited in the line and she had a lovely chat about how good she is at tidying her room and he asked her what she wanted for Christmas.
It was so lovely to see and I can honestly say that is her fear of Santa gone, she is so excited for him to come and visit Christmas Eve now, thank god! :)
My grandaughter is now 5 and I know exactly what you mean. She has beeenn fine with seeing Santa but prrobably because she had her little sistter with her
