We’ve been busy planning in some fun this half term around work and life. I find planning any days out ahead of the half term with our busy work schedule is key to making sure we all have fun and everything runs smoothly, touches wood :)
I’ve found some lovely things going on in and around Stoke-On-Trent this half term for the kiddies if you are local to the area or fancy planning a day trip somewhere new.
Hoppy Easter-Clay Easter Bunny activity at the Gladstone Pottery Museum this half term. On the 5th and the 12th of April you can have a go at making a clay rabbit to take home.
Drop in 11am -12.30pm and 130pm-3.pm and it’s £3 per child, payable at reception.
Admission charges do apply.
We’ve been here before and it’s really great for the kids.
The Easter Bunny has left a trail of eggs around the Foster's Trail at Tittesworth Water. Follow the route to find the eggs and answer the questions. Once completed return to the Visitor Centre to receive your prize! (Non-chocolate alternatives will be available.)
No need to pre book, just go to the Visitor Centre to buy your activity sheet. £3 per trail sheet, each completed trail sheet will receive one prize.
The trail follows Foster's Trail which is a 3km (2 mile) loop which is pushchair friendly.
The trail runs daily from 10am to 4pm.
Burslem park has an Easter egg hunt on the 7th April from 10am-12pm.
Go to the bandstand and collect your clue sheet. Bring back your completed sheet to claim your egg :)
Hop on down to the farm this Easter break for an EGG-XTRA special adventure…

Visit the Dino Egg Hatchery! See the rare dino eggs we're incubating - maybe even meet a baby dinosaur! They’ve got a fun interactive Easter show starring Eenie Beanie Bunny & her lost eggs. Outdoor Easter games every day, farm trailer ride, crafts and lots more.
The fun doesn’t end here – you’ve still got over 2km of indoor playbarn to explore, acres of outdoor adventure play to enjoy and our large & small animal zones where you’ll learn about all creatures (great and small)!
We love the milkshake shop in Biddulph Moor and now the weathers better and the sun is shining, why not head up to Shakes on the rocks and grab yourself some of their delicious milkshakes.
They also have pony rides this half term on the 13th April from 10.30-12.30 at £5 per ride :)
The potteries shopping centre in Hanley are kicking off on 1st April until the 16th - every day from 10am until 4pm with their Easter fun!.
Visit the Easter Selfie Station (opposite Foot-asylum, Level 5) for fabulous themed photo opportunities and colouring tables!
Grab a map from the Selfie Station and take part in the Easter Egg Hunt around the centre! Find the chocolate eggs in 11 locations - including The Entertainer, Smiggle, Claire’s and more – and don't forget to fetch your certificate from the selfie station once you've finished!
