5 THINGS I LOVE ABOUT LE MERIDIEN LAV HOTEL IN CROATIA

When you find a hotel that has everything you need, whether it be a couple's getaway or a family one, it's such a blessing right?. I recently worked with Jet2holidays on a luxury holidays trip and stayed at Le Meridien Lav in Split,Croatia and found it to be perfect for both worlds.

PRIVATE BEACH

My happy place wherever I go is the beach. I couldn't think of anything more appealing than to sit on the beach with a good book, an iced coffee and soak up the sunshine.We often miss the beaches when away as they are either too far from us, or we actually end up forgetting to plan a beach trip in.

The hotel has its own private beach which is literally 5 steps from the hotel and I loved it. I was in my element being able to pop down to the beach for a while with a glass of Prosecco and enjoy the sun for a few minutes.

With having a beach on your doorstep, literally, there are no excuses to miss out!

FAMILY FRIENDLY

As a family of four, and having children that can get bored quite easily, anyone else have the 'I am bored' struggles?.When it comes to a family holiday hotel,  the more child friendly they are, the better. This enables the children to have a lovely holiday as well as us as parents enjoying the holiday to, rather than having to entertain the children the whole time.

At Le Meridien Lav,they can let loose playing the playstation, table tennis, arts and crafts or go down to the play park, which I know Nila would have absolutely loved. The hallway also had painted hand prints of all the children that have visited which I thought was so cute and what a lovely memory to make.

FINE DINING

I love my food and love exploring different dishes whilst away. The food here is beautiful. You can use the buffet which I did for breakfast and there was everything, from fruit and granola, to French toast which was delicious, cheese, meats and all the bread.

We ate at the beach bar too and I had a goats cheese salad which was made perfectly.

AMAZING STAFF

The staff whilst I was on my trip was friendly and couldn't do anymore for you. I got lost at one point, story of my life if you know me well, and one of the ladies escorted me to where I needed to be and even waited whilst I found my friends.

I was missing my blended iced coffees and spoke to one of the men at the bar who kindly made me a blended iced coffee which was 10/10 and we had a little laugh and giggle over my coffee addiction, such a lovely bunch of staff. 

PERFECT GYM

Unfortunately I didn't get chance to go to the gym as I was really busy, but I do strength train 5 times a week at home and love finding a gym that has everything I need when I am away and this gym has it all.

I got talking to a gentleman in the lift who had just been to the gym and he said that the Le Meridien hotel gym is the only one he has been to that caters for all - weights, spin bikes, classes. I would love to try it out when I visit next time.

So whether you are looking for a family friendly trip to Croatia or some time away with your partner, I think this hotel would be fantastic.
