5 REASONS WHY WE LOVE TURKEY

Turkey, for us has got to be one of the best places to have a great holiday. We have been twice now and have loved both times, and will be going back again next summer. The sun and the sea is my happy place and Turkey definitely delivers both sun and sea :)

WATER PARKS

One of our favourite things to do as a family is go swimming, all of the children love the water, ever since they were babies and we all enjoy a splash at the water park.

Aqua fantasy is one of the best water parks in Turkey.Located on the seafront in Selcuk Pamucak Brac. Tickets are really affordable, if you are staying at their hotel, ticks are actually included :)

Rides and slides for all ages.A toddler area with pirate slides, frogs and crocodiles, the bigger slides for the teenagers and dare devils and then the lazy river , which was lovely to go round on the swimming ring and soak up the sun - one of the highlights of our trip.

SUN AND SEA

The hotter the country the better for me. I love the sun and Turkey is known for being extremely hot - music to my ears!. We used up four bottles of suncream on our week holiday, didn't burn at all and we are back home with a gorgeous glow :)

We had a beach right on our doorstep, perfect for a lazy afternoon in the hammock, an iced coffee and a good book.

DELICIOUS FOOD

The food in Turkey is delicious. Kofta kebabs and the Turkish salads were my go to every lunch time. All the fresh fish you can eat, cheese of all kinds and so many different desserts to choose from.We had carrot cake on our last Turkey adventure, and it was amazing!

I always worry about my coffee fix when I am away, yes, I live for coffee, especially iced. Turkey does not disappoint when it comes to iced coffees, iced lattes, frappes, you. name it, they have it and they were all So good!.

TURKISH BATH

The feeling you have when you come out of a Turkish bath is like no other. You start with a steam room session, then into the baths for a body scrub and an amazing foam massage, which smells divine!.You can also purchase the products they use while you are there. Then there is an optional traditional oil massage which is a little extra.

FRIENDLY PEOPLE

I have got to say, in Turkey, they are the most friendliest and helpful people I have ever met. Kind and generous, which Turkish people are known for , amazing hospitality, a warm welcome really does go a long way.

Have you been to Turkey before?, what part if so. We love Kusadasi but will be exploring more of the country next year.
