We were lucky enough to spend the day exploring Richardson's Holiday Park in Hemsby. We go into Hemsby all the time whilst at my parents and have enjoyed Richardson's arcades there so was really excited to explore the holiday park.
We had a full day planned. First up was Coconut Tree Climb and The Crow's Nest. when I say we are all scared of heights, it is an understatement, we were all petrified but ready to face our fears. Nila was up first and did her best trying Coconut Tree Climb.
Then it was our turn to try out The Crow's Nest. My mum got so far around, Alessia and I did one lap but couldn't go any further, although the sun was shining, it was quite windy and it really put me off, some might say it is an excuse but I am going with the wind was bad and sticking with it!.
Lunch at the Gallery fish bar was delicious. We all went for fish and chips with plenty of salt and vinegar, it has to be done when you are by the seaside, as well as gherkins. Alessia was disappointed there were no pickled onions in sight, if you have been here a while you will know her obsession with them so she settled with a gherkin, hard done by isn't she :)
A lesson in Archery after lunch. Nila has been doing Archery in her summer sports camp so was eager to show me her skills, then by the off chance Lessie hit a bullseye!.
Bowling is always a must on holiday. It is family-friendly, all ages can take part and if you are no good, it is the taking part that counts right?.
We then hired a bike and headed off to explore all the different accommodations Richardsons has to offer. From caravans to chalets and even Villas. I love the look of the lodges, they even have a hot tub and are pet-friendly.
Iced coffee, milkshakes and cookies at Richardson's Coastal Cafe which is across the road. They have a big selection of drinks and snacks. The girls went with milkshakes and cookies, I got an iced coffee of course and a piece of Victoria sponge.
After we refuelled it was time for the pool party. Richardsons has their own pool facilities which is fantastic. We were so excited for the party. We had so much fun, volleyball, music and games, we loved it!.
Quick showers before heading into the clubhouse for the evening. We missed the bingo so will definitely have to go back for that, we love bingo!. Children's games, meeting Ritchie and a night of music and laughter, it was such a lovely atmosphere.
We had such a brilliant day - Watch Our Day At Richardson's Holiday Park on Tik Tok.
If you are looking for a family getaway, fun for all ages too then I would definitely take a look at Richardson's Hemsby Beach Holiday Park.
This looks like a ton of fun! I can't believe how much there is to do there. I'd love to try the archery.
