We’ve been at Nanny and Grandad’s this weekend, and you know what that means—the Christmas elves have been in full swing, making mischief! If you didn’t already know, we have cheeky elves that come into action whenever we go to Nanny and Grandad’s.
We’ve always wondered why they only come alive during our Christmas weekends there. Finally, we figured it out—they’re from Norfolk and need the Christmas magic from the area to come alive. Makes sense, right? :)
With our elves, the surprises never stop. It’s not just a single trick or treat during the day; they pop up at unexpected times, keeping us on our toes and bringing endless giggles.
This weekend, they greeted us with a hilarious snowman-building session using toilet rolls. It got completely out of hand, but Nila was in a fit of laughter, and honestly, so were we!
Later on, they surprised the girls with treats for the Hippodrome Circus. They even promised to behave while we were gone. Such cheeky elves—they raided the treat cupboard while we were out and played one of our old Hippodrome vlogs so they wouldn’t miss out on the fun.
Sunday morning, we woke to another great surprise: a craft activity from Baker Ross! The theme was Christmas Elves, and as you might guess, it was an instant hit with Nila. We love a good crafting session, and this one didn’t disappoint.
Of course, the elves couldn’t resist joining in. While we weren’t looking, they made paper chains in the kitchen using our creations. Tinsel, Jingles, and Flower are so unpredictable—you never know if it’ll be a treat or a trick with them!
Nila absolutely loves these special weekends, and we all look forward to the elves’ antics every year.
Do you have elves that visit and cause mischief? If not, you might just need a sprinkle of Norfolk magic to bring them to life. :) ,
The Christmas elves are back! It’s fun seeing how you incorporate them into the season. I’m sure they bring plenty of holiday cheer to your home.
