The front of this cover was the reason why I wanted to read it. Never judge a book by its cover they say right? but I am a sucker for a nice-looking book cover. It took me quite a while to read this one as December has been absolutely manic with work and mum life, but I was definitely glad I picked it up.
Every December, Josie posts a letter to the parents she lost one Christmas night, many years ago. She always writes the same three words: Missing you, always.
When Josie accidentally collides with a stranger at the postbox, she is unaware that Max has his own reasons for trying to avoid the season...or that their chance encounter is set to alter both their lives - and their hearts - in the most unexpected and beautiful of ways...
Set in London, New York and the gorgeous English countryside, Always, in December is the love story everyone will be talking about this year.
I cried at the end, such a sad ending but almost bitter sweet, without completley giving it away. I didnt see any of the ending coming and was destroyed by it!.
If you are looking for book inspiration and recommendations then definitely give this one a go. It is available on kindle unlimited too!
I was sold when you mentioned the English countryside...I will get it for sure....An inspirational book is always a very good idea....
ReplyDeleteA good book cover matters. The ending being unknown is intriguing.
