CREATING A VISION BOARD WITH BAKER ROSS

2025 is here, and we love starting the year with meaningful goals and intentions. Instead of setting New Year’s Resolutions that often fizzle out within weeks, we’re embracing vision boards. The team at Baker Ross kindly sent the girls some fantastic goodies to help them kick off their vision boards for this year.

Nila has her heart set on some truly inspiring goals she wants to achieve in 2025.

Her most important goal is to be confident and brave. When she explained why, I was blown away. For someone who is just 7 years old, she has such an old soul and often surprises me with her depth and wisdom.

Some of her other exciting goals include going camping again. We had our first campout a few years ago and haven’t had the chance to return since. She’s eager to relive that adventure, and I completely agree that it’s time for more family trips exploring the world. Another shared goal of ours is to spend more quality time as a family, something we both cherish.

The most challenging goal she’s set for herself, and the one I know she’ll absolutely smash, is learning to ride a bike. Her confidence has held her back in the past, and her fear of falling has stopped her from trying. But this year, we’re turning that around.

We’re manifesting bike rides during the summer holidays, complete with trips to the park, picnics, and teddies in tow. I can already picture her big smile when she finally masters it.

Crafting her vision board was a joyful experience for Nila. She dove into her stash from Baker Ross with so much enthusiasm. If you’re interested in creating vision boards with your little ones, here’s a list of the supplies we used:

  • Canvas Board

  • Rainbow Stars

  • Acrylic Brush Pens

  • Jumbo Glue Sticks

  • Rainbow Colour Washi Tape

  • Rainbow Coloured Card

The process of making the vision boards was not only fun but also gave us a wonderful opportunity to connect and discuss our hopes for the year ahead. It’s an activity that’s as inspiring as it is creative.

Have you or your little ones made vision boards yet? Here’s to a happy, healthy, and fun-filled 2025 for all of us!
