I’ve had my eye on the Ultrahuman Ring AIR for a long time. If you have followed me for a while, you will know that I have been on a fitness and wellness journey, and I am always experimenting with new tools that help me understand my body better. I already own an Apple Watch, but there was something about this smart ring that felt different.
After months of researching it, Ultrahuman reached out and asked if I’d like to try the Ring AIR and share my thoughts. Of course, I said yes! I went for the Aster Black finish because it goes perfectly with my other rings, and honestly, it looks so cool.
The Ordering & Sizing Experience
One thing I loved about the process is how easy it was to get the right fit. Instead of guessing, Ultrahuman first sends out a sizing kit with sample rings. You are asked to wear the best-fitting one for 48 hours to make sure it doesn’t slip around, but also doesn’t pinch. Once you know your size, you pick your preferred colour, confirm the order, and the real ring arrives soon after. Simple, and way less stressful than hoping you guessed the right size online.
First Impressions & Features
When I first put it on, I was surprised by how light it feels. The Ultrahuman Ring AIR is made from fighter-jet grade titanium, reinforced with a tungsten carbide coating, and yet it barely weighs anything. You honestly forget you are wearing it, even when you sleep. Inside, it has advanced sensors that track heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), blood oxygen, skin temperature, and movement.
The app pulls all of this data together and gives you a really clear picture of your health. My biggest struggle has always been sleep. I’d wake up exhausted and not really understand why. Within a week of wearing the ring, I could see not just how long I slept, but whether my body was actually settling into sleep properly. It showed me restlessness I didn’t even know I had and how much time I was spending in deep, light, and REM sleep. It’s honestly been a game-changer for understanding my energy levels, or lack of them at the minute, yay motherhood :)
Women’s Health Tracking
Another big plus for me is cycle tracking. My cycle has always been a mess, the joys of being a women, right?. The app now gives me insights based on my body temperature and other markers. It doesn’t just mark days on a calendar; it helps me make sense of the fluctuations in my body. For anyone who feels a bit “all over the place” with their cycle, this feature alone has been so valuable.
Living With It Day to Day
A month in, it's a godsend!. I love being able to see how my body is doing, whether that’s recovery after a workout, my sleep score, or simply how many steps I’ve done. I don’t even think about it most of the time, but it’s constantly working in the background.
The battery life has been great too; I get about five days before needing a recharge, and it only takes around three hours to go from empty to full. It’s also water-resistant, so I don’t have to worry about it when I am washing my hands.
Is It Worth the Price?
At £329, the Ultrahuman Ring AIR is definitely an investment. But after a month of using it, I genuinely think it’s worth it. It feels more accurate and personal than my watch when it comes to sleep and recovery. If you are into fitness, wellness, or just want a better understanding of your body, get one!. If you are on what you want for Christmas this year, I couldn't think of a better present than one of these :)
I can 100% say I am obsessed with the Ultrahuman Ring AIR. It has helped me make sense of my sleep, given me better insights into my cycle, and provided daily motivation to stay on track with my health. It’s sleek, lightweight, and far more than just a piece of fitness tech.

I love how the Ultra gives deeper insights into daily activity and health tracking. Even though I am an apple person, I know sometimes there are better products!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that it tracks your cycle! I haven't seen any kind of device that does that, and I've often wished there were one. I have to give this a closer look.
