As soon as October hits, I know I am not the only one who starts getting prepared for Christmas. The year has definitely come around so fast, hasn't it?, and being organised is definitely the way to get your head in the game :) Thanks to Wicked Uncle.
When I saw this short story was going to be a thing, I was SO excited. If anyone else was on the hype that was The Housemaid Saga, then you would have been just as excited as I was for this to be released.
Something we do every year and look forward to is the Christmas light switch on. I honestly can't believe the time has come around so quickly, is anyone else feeling so excited this year. We spent most of the day full festive heads on, Christmas crafts, colouring and watching Nila's current favourite thing on Netflix at the minute, The Christmas Special boss baby.
I actually purchased this book last winter in the sale for £1, after it being over £9 because it was trending and the book of the season. I held out until this winter as I do enjoy reading seasonal books in the right season. I actually switched over to the Kindle after maybe 100 pages in as I'm really not enjoying paperback reading at the minute.
Tis the season for all children's gift inspiration. I dont know about you, but when it comes to the little ones, they either know exactly what they want or they haven't got a clue and want to be surprised!. I have popped together a little gift guide in the hope it'll give you a little help along the way when it comes to Xmas shopping this year.
I know I rave about Freida McFadden, but if you want an easy read, her books are the place to be. I have only read thrillers from here, so I'm not sure if she does any other genre but she writes so well and I have just finished another brilliant one from her.
