GREAT YARMOUTH BEACH DAY

Nila has asked every day since we have been here to go to the beach . She definitely takes after me as I absolutely love the beach.

There is something about the beach for me , I don’t know whether it’s the calmness , but it really does make me feel at home .

I love the sand on my feet and the sound of the sea , it’s so therapeutic.

We headed to Great Yarmouth originally for the amusements and joy land , but the weather had a great turn and it ended up absolutely glorious, we couldn’t believe how warm it got .

We went bowling and had cake and tea and then went and sat on the beach and spent the whole afternoon there.

I love impromptu moments , we had no swimming costumes, we had to buy some buckets and spades , even though we have that many at home we could probably open up our own bucket and spade shop :)

The girls got absolutely drenched and honestly had the best time of their life . Nila was in her glory and it made my heart so happy.

Grandad made sandcastles too and he also had a lovely afternoon which was lovely , as he has had chemotherapy this past week and it’s so nice to see him smiling .

I wish the weather was a little bit better for the rest of the week as it’s just rain , but if we have another sunny day then we will definitely get back to the beach before we go home .
