CHEESEBURGER PASTA

Yes you read that right , cheeseburger pasta!. Now I know why most of you will be thinking , what? , but honestly this is a favourite in our house and we have it once a week.


It is a firm favourite among the slimming world community as it tastes just like a cheeseburger but with no syns!

INGREDIENTS

400g Pasta - we either use fusilli or penne
250g Lean mince
Half a punnet of chopped cherry tomatoes
One white onion
10 gherkins
50G cheese
1 tablespoon of mustard powder
1 tablespoon of smoked paprika
1/2 tablespoon of onion salt
Shake of pepper
Beef stock cube
Dash of Worcester sauce
Tomato purée

METHOD
Put you pasta on to boil with the stock cube. If you haven’t boiled pasta in stock then where have you been? Complete game changer!



Fry your mince off with the onion until brown , add in your spices and herbs , Worcester sauce and tablespoon of tomato purée along with 1/2 a ladle of the stock from the pasta and give it all a good mix .

Now add your chopped up tomatoes and let them soften down. Whilst that’s going on , slice your gherkins and grate your cheese .



Drain your pasta , take the mince off the heat and add your pasta , gherkins and cheese and mix it all together and then serve.
