OUR MOTHER’S DAY 2020

So Mother’s Day this year I am sure hasn’t been what anyone was expecting but that doesn’t mean we haven’t had a lovely day.

At times like this you really need to grab onto the good moments and keep as positive as you can , count them blessings when you can.

I woke up this morning and came downstairs to flowers, banners and balloons . It was definitely not expected and I did cry.

I cried because even  through all this that is going on in the world , my girls still wanted to try and make this day as special as possible.

We opened some gifts and cards - Nila had been coming to me for the last three days with her card saying ‘happy mother’s day’ , so she was finally able to show it to me properly :)

We got ready for the day and went out in the garden. The sun is glorious at the minute and if you are fortunate enough to have some outdoor space then definitely get out there , it really does lift the mood !.

We spent most of the day in the sunshine , we had lunch outside and mama had a few cheeky gins in the sunshine too.

We ended the day with a chicken roast dinner and movie night .

I’m absolutely shattered now and definitely ready for bed but it’s been the best day possible:)
