AD / DATING IN CAMBRIDGESHIRE | VIRTUAL PYJAMA DATE NIGHTS TO SPOOKY GHOST TOURS

When it comes to dating , I have never loved it, in person that is. I know I am not the only one that gets really anxious and nervous about meeting someone face to face , especially on a date!.

Most of my friends are quite happy to meet up and have dates every week but that would definitely be out of my comfort zone and it is for quite a lot of people.

All them thoughts running through your head, have I got food stuck in my teeth? or am I laughing a little to much, does it sound fake?, do I smell ok?,We’ve all been there haven’t we?.

Give me an AOL chat room anyday...remember good old dial up internet and the chat rooms?, that is actually where Mezz and I met , in an online dating chat room.

You use to ask each other their A/S/L which was their age,sex and location and then go from there, and it honestly was so much fun!.

Online dating has become so much more popular now and dating websites are the first thing a lot of people gravitate towards , it is definitely a comfort thing, being able to sit in a safe environment in your own home and date , perfect!.

I know quite a few friends that have actually met people online through varies places like the Cambridgeshire dating site .

Lockdown has been tough, especially for dating , but with online virtual dating , you can do it in your pyjamas :) , and really get to know the person before venturing out with them.

A pyjama virtual date night sounds so much fun!. You could see who could pick up the craziest pyjamas or pick a theme and see who can find the coolest costume themed pyjamas.

It really does bring the joy and the quirky side back into dating and makes it really fun.

Mezz and I use to chat online for hours , straight through to the early morning and we didn’t actually meet up until we had been sending messages back and fourth for almost 6 months, but by then it was as if we had known each other for years.

Once you’ve built that connection and you know what you both like and enjoy , you can head out and start making even more memories on them dates.

The river cam is a really popular Cambridgeshire dating destination . The river is absolutely beautiful and in the summer you could take along a picnic too.

Discover the darker side and go ghost hunting on the Black shuck Cambridge ghost tour, I love this type of stuff and it is also an excuse to hold onto your date if you are feeling a little scared , if not then you can always pretend just so you can  get a little closer :)

I’d love to hear how your dating has been going over lockdown or not going!, or perhaps you’ve met the love of your life online , I’d love to hear more ...

  1. Online dating can be tough when you're meeting someone for the first time, even if you think you know them. I hated going on dates, but using a dating app helped me to find my fiance so it was worth it x
