THINGS TO DO IN NORFOLK | LOST WORLD ADVENTURE GOLF

I don't know what it is about crazy golf, but the kids love it. If you can find one that suits all ages then I think you are on to a winner and a good day out. Hemsby in Norfolk, not far from Great Yarmouth have a lovely mini golf, which we have been to quite a few times now.

MINI GOLF ADVENTURE

The Lost World Adventure Mini Golf is a 9 themed course and great for toddlers and adults. Putt past dinosaurs, fossils, water hazards, even an ancient Aztec temple, which looks really cool.Floodlit at dusk with sound effects and a range of tropical plants, no time to get bored here.

ADMISSION PRICES AND OPENING TIMES

Entry to Lost World is £5 per person, under 3's go free and I think its the perfect amount of time, eating around 45 minutes, depending on how many of you there are. We had three adults and two children.

Open every year from Easter to the end of October Half term. 10am-6pm off peak, 10am - 10pm peak times and bank holidays.

Devil's drop - Hole 6!

Our favourite was the Devil's Drop - hole 6. You have to get your ball over the water to the otherside, if not, it ends up in the water and you have to fish it out with the net. Nila lost her ball and couldn't figure out where it was it was hilarious!.

JOURNEY'S END

The other really cool one was the last two number 9 holes. It is the rib bones of a dinosaur and it honestly  looks pretty epic!.

SCORECARD APP

We love keeping our score, Grandad won this time!. If you download their score card app to store your players scores, you can also get a description of each hole with tips to improve your skill, which is quite good.

Every time you play and keep track of your scores ,points are given, which you then an redeem for a free game.

Create an account at the beginning of your golf session and you will automatically receive some free points to start you off with :)

PANNING FOR GOLD?

On site is also panning for gold which the girls have been doing for at least 10 years!. Collect your gold pans and buckets and get digging. Sift through the sand to find your gold, then go to the desk to claim your reward :)

This is £3 for all - a great cheap and cheerful activity during the summer holidays, we love winning our medals!.

We had a lovely afternoon, and ended the day with milkshakes and iced coffee :)
