WHY TURKEY IS A GREAT FAMILY HOLIDAY DESTINATION

 

looking for holidays can be an absolute nightmare, I know hours can pass by scrolling the internet for somewhere to go and you just don't know where to look. Turkey is one of the most popular tourists destinations. Known for its warm welcome ,affordability and the amazing climate, it is the perfect family getaway.

 AMAZING FOOD

Turkey has fabulous food. The local cuisine is absolutely divine. From Turkish delight to fresh doner kebabs - the food choice is endless. We stayed at an all inclusive resort so food and drink were on hand at all times - heaven right?. There was such a variety of food, the fresh chicken salads were my favourite and the children loved trying all the different desserts, so many to choose from.

We booked dinner out too where we had an array of dishes to pick from the menu. Fresh fish, mussels and linguine, which were insane!, as well as food that I call safe food for the kids, so all the pizza and chips their little hearts desire :)

BUDGET FRIENDLY

Although it isn't as cheap as it was when we visited Kusadasi a few years ago, it is still one of the cheapest places we have been abroad and the cost of living in Turkey is really low compared to some other countries. Lots of delicious food at good prices, gifts and more. We booked a family week away in a water park , 5 star hotel with amazing all inclusive food under our budget and was such great value for money.

WELCOMING

The hospitality in Turkey is honestly above and beyond. Turks go out of their way to make you feel welcome and it definitely doesn't go unnoticed. Big smiles and welcoming drinks, friendly atmospheres in the restaurants and bars - we love it there.

They also love children and make such a fuss over the little ones. Most hotels and resorts have kids clubs too with so much on, they really do make such a big effort for all the family to enjoy their time .

ENTERTAINMENT FOR ALL

In Turkey there is always something going on for the children as well as the adults. The tourist boards have so many activities available, boat trips, Turkish spa afternoons, BBQ parties as well as kids clubs, crazy golf, aqua parks and so much more.

It is very easy to plan your trip in advance and get all the best fun adventures booked ready for your stay. 

WATER PARKS

Like I mentioned above, the waterparks in Turkey are some of the best. We have been to Aqua Fantasy twice now and can not wait to go again. Rides for all ages as well as an area for the babies and toddlers so no one in the family is missing out.

It is a fun for all day out, with on site food and drink facilities - we was able to get a well deserved costa coffee, for all you coffee lovers like myself, and the children loved the vanilla frappes and the different ice creams that were available.
