BRINGING BACK A 90S SUMMER | CARAVAN HOLIDAYS

Growing up in the 90s was honestly, the best memories I have. I could spend forever writing about my favourite things back then - playing outside with my friends and only coming home for something to eat. Corner Shop penny sweets, Eerie Indiana and pogs - childhood was carefree and I really wanted to bring some of that 90s summer back this year for the girls.

We booked a Caravan Holiday to Wales last week and the girls absolutely loved it. We stayed with Golden Memories Caravan Rentals in one of their caravans in Towyn and was pleasantly surprised.

The caravan sleeps 8, has three bedrooms, one double with a toilet and sink and two other rooms with two singles in each. Shower room with really cool blue disco lights which the girls loved. Living area, kitchen and dining table.

Everything you need is right on your doorstep for a family week away and we got up to so much.

On site, they have a big park, which both the girls enjoyed. Swings, zip wire, slides and obstacle course. A morning at the park on holiday always goes down a treat, plus the sun was shining all week!.

Ice cream man on-site and comes around a few times during the day.Definitely took me back to my caravan holidays in Clacton.

For the rainy days, they have a soft play, yes, soft play, free admission whilst on your holiday. Nila would have spent the whole week in there if she could, if you know Nila, then you will know her obsession with soft play!.

The clubhouse has things on during the day for children and evening entertainment for all. kids games and dances, bingo and fun throughout the night.

Food can be bought from here too. We had dinner out a few times and the loaded nachos are delicious!. As well as slushies, ice cream and milkshakes!.Reasonable price too!.

The site also has its own swimming pool. £5 for adults and £4 for children - sessions can be booked inside the clubhouse where the entrance to the swimming pool is.

We did the swimming whilst on holiday - the pool is really warm and the 45-minute sessions are the perfect amount of time . They also do an inflatos session later on in the day for the same price.

The arcades and fun fair are a 5-minute walk down the road. We spent most of one afternoon down there.

Arcades, funfair, a little bakery that does a mean cheese and onion bap and delicious cakes, shops and of course, we found an iced coffee place :)

Fish and chips are a staple on any caravan holiday. Right opposite the iced coffee bar and the fish was So good and such a bargain, large fish and chips was £7!.

The beach is the overside of the fun fair, we didn't get to explore the one in Towyn, but we have been to Prestatyn Beach which isn’t too far and loved it there.

They even have sea shells which I haven't seen on a beach in such a very long time in the UK.

A 20-minute walk from the arcades is a bigger fair, market and a car boot sale. We got some absolute bargains, a brand new dress for me, the girls a new outfit and some books from the car boot.

Everything you need for a 90s summer holiday is within 30 minutes.

We had such a lovely week and will definitely be back.
