THINGS TO DO IN HEMSBY | CRAZY GOLF SWEET TREATS AND PIZZA

A week at my mum’s always ends up with a day out in Hemsby. It’s one of the girls’ favourite places for the arcades, the beach and a game of crazy golf at Lost World Adventure Golf.

We’ve been coming here for years, but this time we made a proper day of it with Lost World Golf, plus Madison's Sweet Treats and their new Backyard Pizzas. Crazy golf, crepes, arcades and pizza all in one day is a pretty good day out this summer :)

LOST WORLD GOLF HEMSBY

A game of crazy golf is always a must when we are on holiday, and Lost World Golf in Hemsby is somewhere we’ve been coming to every year for the longest time.

The whole course is dinosaur themed, with dinosaurs dotted around, sound effects and plenty going on as you make your way around. It’s such a fun one to do with the kids, and the girls always love coming back here.

We are also a family of competitors, which means a nice relaxing game of crazy golf obviously never stays nice and relaxing for very long. Someone always ends up moaning or crying because someone else is winning, the joys of having children, right? :)

Thankfully, there is a very easy way to cheer everyone up afterwards...

MADISONS SWEET TREATS

Madisons Sweet Treats is right next door and is the perfect sugar fix pit stop. There is so much on the menu. Milkshakes, iced coffees, crepes, waffles, pancakes and loads of different toppings and sauces to choose from. Basically, if you like a little sweet treat like me, you are going to struggle to decide what to have.

We all went for crepes and they were a solid 10/10. I had the Reese’s sauce on mine and would definitely recommend it, SO good!

We were so full so we headed over to the arcades and the park for a couple of hours before dinner to burn it all of ready for dinner.

Yes, we did dessert before dinner, but it’s the summer holidays, there are no rules! :)

BACKYARD PIZZAS HEMSBY

Backyard Pizzas is new this year, and wow, these were genuinely some of the best pizzas I’ve ever tasted.

The pizzas are made fresh with fresh dough and cooked in the pizza oven right there, with loads of different toppings to choose from. I love olives, so obviously black olives had to go on mine.

There is a really pretty outdoor seating area where you can sit and eat too, and it was so lovely in the evening with all the lights on.

The pizzas come in boxes too, which is handy if, like us, your eyes are way bigger than your belly and you can’t quite finish them. We took our leftovers back with us and ended up eating the rest later that evening with a movie.

Two dinners out of one pizza.... Winning!!

Hemsby is one of those places we come back to every year and the girls never seem to get bored of it. There is plenty to do without having to plan every minute of the day, which is exactly what I love when we’re away.

We had such a lovely day playing crazy golf , eating our body weight in crepes at Madisons Sweet Treats, spending far too much time in the arcades and finishing the evening with Backyard Pizzas, another summer holiday fun day ticked off :)
