THE DIVORCE BY FREIDA MCFADDEN | BOOK REVIEW

Your girl has Kindle Unlimited back, and she has finally finished her first book in absolute months! Honestly, my reading slump has been real. I just haven't been able to get back into reading, and to be honest, concentrating on a book has been a struggle in itself. There's been a lot going on lately, life and all that jazz, and my poor Kindle has been sitting there wondering what on earth is going on :)

ARE WE TAKING ENOUGH DIGITAL BREAKS? RETHINKING SCREEN TIME

A workday can end without screen time actually ending. The laptop closes, the phone comes out, and what feels like downtime becomes another hour of messages, videos, news, and scrolling. That distinction matters because digital wellbeing is not simply a question of counting hours.

ROMEO AND JULIET AT THE NEW VIC THEATRE | A DATE NIGHT REVIEW

There’s something about an evening at the theatre that gives me all the autumn feels. The weather is starting to turn, the darker nights are creeping in, and a night at the theatre with some wine and Romeo & Juliet sounded like the perfect little midweek date night :) Sam and I headed to the New Vic Theatre and this was actually my first time visiting. I’ve lived around here for years and never been, so I was really looking forward to having a nosey, seeing what the theatre was like and obviously watching Romeo & Juliet.

Paint is good, engine is great, but those stock wheels have been on there since day one and they are showing it.

GIFTS THAT FEEL PERSONAL INSTEAD OF LAST MINUTE

Finding a good gift sounds simple until you actually need to buy one. Birthdays, new babies, anniversaries, Christmas, Halloween parties and family celebrations all seem to arrive with surprising speed, and suddenly you are searching for something that feels thoughtful without spending hours going from shop to shop.

WAYS TO MAKE EVERYDAY LIFE FEEL MORE RELAXED AND PUT TOGETHER

There are certain periods in life when everything seems to happen at once. The school run needs organising, work messages keep appearing on your phone, the house somehow becomes messy five minutes after you have tidied it, and the list of things you promised yourself you would get around to keeps getting longer.

HOW TO CREATE A COSY GARDEN ESCAPE AT HOME

There is something special about having a little corner of the garden that feels completely yours. Somewhere to sit with a cup of tea, read a few pages of a book, enjoy the sunshine or simply switch off for half an hour.
