SLOW LIVING IN JANUARY | LUSH KITCHEN SUBSCRIPTION BOX | DRIFT AWAY TO DREAMLAND

January’s Lush Kitchen Subscription BoxDrift Away to Dreamland, is such a dreamy name, and the packaging is absolutely gorgeous. I’m definitely keeping it for journalling and crafting, yes, I am that girl who cuts up bits of scrap paper and saves them for future creative projects.

Although I wasn’t overly excited about some of the pieces, I’m currently doing a No Spend January, so girl maths says this was basically a free little self-care treat, and honestly, a Lush bath and body treat is always welcome at any time of year.

This Lush Kitchen box came with six products, all perfectly on theme for sleepy, cosy, slow-living self-care for this month.

First up is the Dreamtime Naked Bath Oil. I’ve noticed that Lush does a bath oil, so I am hoping they are becoming more of a thing now. With ginger oil, sandalwood, and lavender, it’s packed with calming, bedtime-friendly ingredients. You simply pop it into the bath and let it dissolve. I loved this one and managed to get two baths out of it. I find a little goes a long way with some of the Lush products, which always feels like good value for money.

Next is Butterball Body Lotion, which I’d already seen floating around TikTok as a potential spoiler, and I’m so happy it made it into the box. This buttery body cream smells amazing, with almond oil, jojoba oil, and ylang ylang. It feels so nourishing and leaves the skin soft, perfect for winter skincare.

The Dreamland Sleep Mask is made from 100% organic cotton. I’m not usually a sleep mask girl, but Nila definitely is, so this went straight to her. I do love the celestial print though!.

There’s also the Sleepy Shower Gummy, which you can use like a solid soap bar. It sticks to the tiles and is a fun one for the kids to use as well.

Softy Foot Lotion is another win because I am such a foot-rub kind of girl. A foot massage and fluffy socks are the way to my heart!.

We have a bath bomb in this box, the  Golden Slumbers.  Made with lavender oil, lavender absolute, and chamomile blue oil, it’s so relaxing and perfect for a Sunday reset bath.

  2. I had no idea Lush did subscription boxes. How fun! The bath oils have been around for a little while now. Unless they were, and then they stopped and have restarted again. I used to buy them years ago and always really enjoyed them. It feels like such a little treat. Looks like a lovely box! Some fab products in here.
