Half term here in the UK is seriously wet and windy. The house is full of lurgies, which calls for rainy-day play. My girls love crafts and making things. Today's challenge was den-making.We've already done the whole kitchen table and chairs den, but Nila wanted to make some of her toys a den and I love me a challenge - challenge accepted!.
It is definitely lurgy season and although Winter is a lovely season, leaves falling, snowman making, it is by far the most common time of the year to catch every bug going, if you haven't already!. We have already had snotty noses in our house, and that gave me the idea to put together the ways we try and stay fit and healthy during winter.
Halloween half-term is nearly here and I wanted to put together a collection of things that are available during the week. I don't know about you, but I love having things booked, this way the kids are excited and there are no disappointments if tickets sell out, right?.

Finding hotels that are not only affordable but family-friendly is sometimes hard to come by, aren't they?. Cheaper hotels, you might not get the best child-friendly activities, or the 'best' family hotels are normally a bit more expensive so finding one that ticks all our boxes I thought I would share with you.
When I say water parks are our thing, they totally are. Get my kids in their swimming costumes and they are in their absolute element!. Our holiday to Turkey this year was amazing, a holiday we didn't think we would see, but had the best week away and can not wait to go back!.
As a family of book worms we all love reading and this month we have been digging out the spooky books. Nila has a few favourites that she gets out every Halloween but we've also been to the library this week and she has picked out some really good ones.
