There is something about that first tiny bit of sunshine in the UK that just lifts everything.The big coats get pushed to the back of the wardrobe, the big scarves are no longer essential, and suddenly we can get out in just a cardigan without checking the weather app five times first!. Spring really does have a way of refreshing not just the seasons, but our wardrobes.

Time away from the girls is something I really struggle with. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I get overwhelming mum guilt and feel awful whenever I’m not with them. Over the last few years, I’ve worked with Jet2 and been away with them every year, and the children understand that I’m away for work. That feels different, almost justified.
