DONT WAKE UP MR. MCGREGOR | HALF TERM FUN WITH ORCHARD TOYS

We love a themed game in our house and with the Easter holidays coming up we have been testing out the new game from Orchard Toys, Wake up Mr. McGregor.

 Not long before half term hits our house and we have been busy planning some fun trips out in between work, which can sometimes get a little stressful but I find if you get your calendar planned out ahead then there is little room for error, i type that as I touch my head and cross my fingers and toes :) 

THE MOMENT YOU REALISE YOU ARE LIVING YOUR LIFE

 Saturday evening and it is twenty past 10 at night. I have been reading for the past hour, my latest read is Elizabeth is Missing by Emma Healey and it is pretty good, smaller word print than I normally read,  which is making my head hurt, i need to check in with Specsavers to see if I need reading glasses again, but I have had a bit of a wake-up moment tonight.

After the longest winter ever, or so it seems and honestly feeling like it will never end, Spring is definitely on its way. The sun has been trying to shine through a lot more and we are so excited for it!. We bought our first bunch of daffodils over the weekend and can not wait for some warmer days.

MINI EGG EASTER BROWNIES

March has hit and it’s all things Easter in this house. We have been getting our bake on and these Easter mini egg brownies made with The Groovy Food Company are not only easy to make but absolutely delicious.

MOTHER'S DAY | IT IS ESSENTIALLY JUST ANOTHER DAY

The weekend went by way too fast if you ask me. I can't believe it is Monday already!. Roll on the spring half term as I can not wait to get on a plane and have some time off and some sunshine, what is this weather like?. So cold this morning and honestly looks like it could snow!.

SOLO CINEMA DATE | TAKING SOME TIME OUT

 Friday's are my day off and although I do normally work, catch up on blog admin or get ahead for the following week, I miss taking these days off and giving myself a break. The juggles of motherhood and being a working mum and also self-employed, free time always ends up being consumed with work or life errands and I really want to get out of that.
