When you book a holiday abroad . The excitement finally kicks in doesn’t it. You have the confirmation letter and you are just counting day the days to sun and sea and hopefully a nice tan!. Something I struggle to get, even from a week in Turkey! I am just one of the unlucky ones :)

#MENTALHEALTHAWARENESS WEEK - YOU ARE NOT ALONE

With it being mental health awareness week, I wanted to share my journey with my mental health and honestly, to let people know that it is ok not be ok , and to say that.

I have struggled for years with my mental health . It started in my early teens and hasn’t left me . Of course I have coping mechanisms now I am older and I feel like I know when enough is enough and I need to give myself a break before my mental health gets affected.

POSTPARTUM HAIR LOSS DILEMMA

If you have followed me for a while you would remember how long my hair was . I loved my long hair and even though it was a pain to wash and dry it , it was almost like a comfy blanket to hide behind if I needed to.Once I fell pregnant with Nila , my hair was in its element!. It became even more thicker and glossy- typical pregnancy hair, and I loved it!. Fast forward 9 months later, I had a gorgeous baby girl and serious hair loss.

Now the weather is getting warmer and we have had some lovely hot days,I shall cross my fingers and hope it stays this way! :) , I try and cook a little less heavy. The last thing I want to do in the heat is slave away over the cooker sweating my socks off, and to be honest , the girls enjoy a lighter meal at tea time when the suns out .

The weekend has been a very hard one for me . If you didn’t know , I work as a community Carer on weekends. I decided that after having Nila and once maternity leave ended I would go back only
On weekends as we have no family to look after the children and childcare costs are absolutely ridiculous!.

CORTEX | REVIEW

So this months game from the blogger board game club is Cortex. Now when i first initially looked at the instructions, i thought it was going to be super hard to play.It is a brain game, so i was expecting a little bit of a headache, these kind of games always do that to you don't they :) but that was not the case.
