I am turning 40 in April, and honestly, I have never been more into my skin. There is nothing, and I mean nothing, that hits quite like a quiet evening after a busy day, hair up, cleanser on, and an episode of Love Island. Anyone else watching it? Because that combination of villa drama and a double cleanse is elite self care.
Coming from a home where my mum loved to read, I definitely know where my love for books comes from. Getting stuck into a good book with a cup of tea is honestly one of my favourite things to do, and seeing my mum reading while I was growing up is without a doubt the reason I still read today.
There is something about that first tiny bit of sunshine in the UK that just lifts everything.The big coats get pushed to the back of the wardrobe, the big scarves are no longer essential, and suddenly we can get out in just a cardigan without checking the weather app five times first!. Spring really does have a way of refreshing not just the seasons, but our wardrobes.
